Aim

The British Journal of Translational Biochemistry (BJTB) aims to advance the understanding and application of biochemical research by bridging fundamental molecular discoveries with their translation into clinical, biomedical, and industrial applications. The journal promotes innovative research with clear translational impact from bench to bedside.

Scope

BJTB publishes original research articles, reviews, short communications, and perspectives focusing on translational biochemistry, including but not limited to:

• Translational biochemistry and molecular medicine
• Clinical biochemistry and laboratory medicine
• Biochemical mechanisms of disease and therapeutic targeting
• Biomarker discovery and validation
• Enzyme function, regulation, and drug development
• Metabolic pathways and metabolic disorders

The journal particularly welcomes interdisciplinary studies integrating biochemistry with clinical research, pharmacology, biotechnology, systems biology, and computational approaches.
